Erin Kearney – Texas Rangers

Est. reading time: 6 mins

Erin Kearney has never struck out an All-Star center fielder with two runners on base in the last inning of a playoff game. She has never driven in a clutch run, with her team trailing in the late innings. And she has never turned a crucial double play to preserve a victory. But that doesn’t […]

Elizabeth A. Moreno – Genome Medical

Est. reading time: 5 mins

Preventive care is most effective when starting early. Identifying someone’s risk for cancer or other medical conditions before onset allows them to make informed decisions for treatment and therapy.  So explains Elizabeth A. Moreno, whose responsibilities include negotiating partnerships between Genome Medical and the health systems, diagnostic labs and biopharma organizations it serves. Her employer […]

Elliot Kahler – Janus International Group

Est. reading time: 5 mins

As a collegiate tennis standout, Elliot Kahler wasn’t shy about charging the net. A slim 6-foot-3 specimen who captained Emory University’s nationally ranked team during his senior year, he’d establish his authority on the court.  Or anywhere else. Upon earning his undergraduate and law degrees from Emory University and cutting his legal teeth for just […]

Emilio Bugs – GFT

Est. reading time: 5 mins

As Emilio Bugs began his legal career around 20 years ago, his father offered advice on what lawyers should and shouldn’t do. Long hair and pierced ears? Out of order! But while his father may have known best from a conventional standpoint, the precocious son had other influences that turned out fine. The young Bugs […]

Emily Dimond – PNC

Est. reading time: 5 mins

Be it from the role of plaintiff or defendant, litigation is an inevitable part of PNC operating as a bank-holding and financial services corporation active in most states and internationally. Even when there’s nothing contentious between it and other entities, PNC must be ready to provide regulators with evidence of everything being done according to […]

Essien Udokang – McKesson Canada

Est. reading time: 4 mins

There’s nothing like being immersed early in the inner workings of a company to make a new legal leader feel welcome. Essien Udokang says that’s how he felt upon joining pharmaceutical giant McKesson Canada in November 2018. He may have even been slightly surprised at how early he was afforded a seat at the proverbial […]

The semiconductor industry is expected to reach $1 trillion by 2030 with Entegris standing to reap more benefits as a supplier of the sophisticated materials necessary to support electronic equipment and devices.  All the more reason for this Massachusetts-headquartered multinational to protect its intellectual properties, says Erika Singleton, whose vigilance on that front Entegris retained […]

I was honored to be the subject of an article. I enjoy reading Vanguard articles and seeing how other attorneys got to their positions and see their jobs. It's also interesting to see how different law firms partner with the subjects of the articles.
– Henry Marquard, in-house counsel, Stanley Consultants Inc.
The piece highlighting my company, Bob Baker Enterprises, Inc., came out fabulous. Our company is in the new and used car sales and service industry. Everyone was great to work with and extremely professional. They produced a high-quality product and have provided expert assistance and guidance post-production of the article.
– Wade Poulson, General Counsel, Bob Baker Enterprises Inc.
As promised in advance, my feature in Vanguard has increased my visibility within the profession and prompted more than a few people I have not communicated with recently to reconnect. One of the Italian law firms I have used in the past is now in the process of interviewing me for an article on their website and tweeting out the feature story. Activity and the number of people connecting with me on LinkedIn has soared, which is great. The Vanguard writers and editorial staff were great to work with—highly professional and made the effort to make the experience both fun and rewarding (they were also respectful of the time pressures and demands all lawyers face). I was very pleased with the experience and the final outcome. Needless to say, I have been very pleased. All in all working with Vanguard has been a very positive experience which generated good publicity for both Shawcor and myself. My sincere thanks.
– Tim Hutzul, General Counsel, ShawCor Ltd.
It was a great honor to be featured in Vanguard Law. Working with every member of the team, from the initial interview with Erin Clark, through production with Victor Martins, writing the article with Taryn Plumb and creating the final content with Dave Gushee, was a true pleasure. Everyone was very professional, enthusiastic and supportive, and their creative approach and positive attitude clearly came through in the final product.
– Kevin C. Rakowski, Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Compliance with Radian Group Inc.
