With over 15 years in the legal field, she has risen through the ranks of law firmand major corporations in the retail and industrial sectors, building a career that blends legal precision with strategic vision.

“I built my career step by step,” she reflects, “climbing each rung with confidence, responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to professional ethics.” Her legal education and postgraduate degrees in compliance and corporate law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) prepared her for the complexity of today’s legal challenges.

Jessica has excelled in civil, regulatory, advisory and litigation law. She developed a reputation for delivering detailed legal opinions and actionable advice—even in high-stakes or ambiguous scenarios.

“My goal has always been to offer effective and strategic legal solutions that align with business goals,” she explains.

This multi-dimensional experience gave her the foundation to lead legal departments with a 360-degree view—one that balances law and compliance with innovation. Her track record shows a mastery of the law and a deep understanding of how legal strategy supports business agility and growth.

She leads the company’s legal management, compliance, and LGPD (Brazil’s General Data Protection Law) efforts, with responsibilities that span from negotiating contracts to steering litigation strategies. “I support decision-making by ensuring that business strategies are executed with legal and compliance security,” she explains. Her work is instrumental in safeguarding the company as it delivers bold, tech-forward marketing campaigns that often push the limits of creativity and data use.

Capor’s most impactful achievement to date has been the creation of a robust, digital-first legal infrastructure.

“Structuring and implementing a process for contract management and LGPD compliance significantly reduced legal and financial risks,” she shares. “It also fostered greater integration between legal and business areas and enhanced our reputation for governance and excellence.”

Her current focus is on deepening this transformation through strategic initiatives. One of the key efforts underway is the digitalization of legal processes. Jessica is leading the rollout of an integrated platform designed to automate and centralize the management of contracts, NDAs, and regulatory documents. This system enhances business security and streamlines workflows across departments—from procurement to project execution and payment.

Despite her demanding role, Jessica prioritizes wellness and balance in her personal life.

“To stay grounded, I need time to reset,” she says. Her routine includes Muay Thai, therapy, and outdoor walks with her husband and their three dogs. “Self-care helps me be more present at work and in life.”

She’s intentional about carving out time for hobbies and relaxation, from travel to movies to simply enjoying a quiet evening. It’s important to recharge, she emphasizes.

“I believe that by caring for myself, I can be more balanced and better at everything I do,” she explains.

Looking ahead, Jessica’s five-year vision is ambitious yet grounded.

“I see myself in a broader, strategic leadership role—working on complex legal challenges, leading large teams, and driving innovation at scale,” she shares. Her plan includes pursuing additional certifications in areas like M&A, corporate governance, and legal tech and growing her network across industries.
