Roger LeBoeuf – Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority

Est. reading time: 4 mins

By the time Roger LeBoeuf joined the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority three years ago, he had already built up a decades-long career in construction law. One moment stands out to him. He was sitting in a deposition where a legal counsel asked a developer about bidding wars among contractors. The developer eventually gave a wry […]

Alex Kiles – Airbnb

Est. reading time: 4 mins

When Alex Kiles joined Airbnb as its policy senior counsel, he knew all about policymaking, having worked on both the House and Senate sides of the Hill. But he hadn’t yet learned all he needed to know. That’s because that was federal policymaking, and state and local policies regulate short-term rentals. “There were two big […]

Saad Minhas – Equinix

Est. reading time: 4 mins

Though it’s not true that the cloud can be contained in a building the size of a football field, data centers used by cloud service providers are frequently that large.  In the case of Equinix, a provider of digital infrastructure and cloud services and solutions currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, its 250 data centers are […]

Lindsey Catlett may not meet directly with Simmons Bank customers as they apply for loans, open accounts or use the other financial services the bank provides.  But as vice president and senior corporate counsel, she’s part of the team managing Simmons Bank’s day-to-day legal affairs, including integrating the teams and products from the banks Simmons […]

Andrew Westle – New American Funding

Est. reading time: 5 mins

In a hot housing market with inventory low and there often being multiple bidders for a desirable property, cold cash has the inside track. So, what’s one to do if caught between trying to sell one house and buy another but lacking the wherewithal to consummate the deal ASAP?  Among the options: Harnessing the NAF […]

Mark Bach – Navistar Inc.

Est. reading time: 5 mins

Should Mark Bach take in a Chicago Bears game, he’d be reminded of his exclusive professional status. Not that he’s one to feel special, but at last count there were fewer than 51,000 patent practitioners in the United States, and he and the others would fall more than 10,000 short of Soldier Field’s capacity. “The […]

Thousands of hours spent on research and clinical trials—and billions of dollars. Jenna Hsieh – Dialpad

Est. reading time: 5 mins

Some people watch the Super Bowl for the game and others for the commercials. On Feb. 12, 2023, Jenna Hsieh was part of the latter, interested in one particular advertisement: Dialpad’s.   The day before the kickoff, the software company’s chief marketing officer sent a company-wide e-mail with the full commercial, but Hsieh waited to watch […]

The piece highlighting my company, Bob Baker Enterprises, Inc., came out fabulous. Our company is in the new and used car sales and service industry. Everyone was great to work with and extremely professional. They produced a high-quality product and have provided expert assistance and guidance post-production of the article.
– Wade Poulson, General Counsel, Bob Baker Enterprises Inc.
As promised in advance, my feature in Vanguard has increased my visibility within the profession and prompted more than a few people I have not communicated with recently to reconnect. One of the Italian law firms I have used in the past is now in the process of interviewing me for an article on their website and tweeting out the feature story. Activity and the number of people connecting with me on LinkedIn has soared, which is great. The Vanguard writers and editorial staff were great to work with—highly professional and made the effort to make the experience both fun and rewarding (they were also respectful of the time pressures and demands all lawyers face). I was very pleased with the experience and the final outcome. Needless to say, I have been very pleased. All in all working with Vanguard has been a very positive experience which generated good publicity for both Shawcor and myself. My sincere thanks.
– Tim Hutzul, General Counsel, ShawCor Ltd.
It was a great honor to be featured in Vanguard Law. Working with every member of the team, from the initial interview with Erin Clark, through production with Victor Martins, writing the article with Taryn Plumb and creating the final content with Dave Gushee, was a true pleasure. Everyone was very professional, enthusiastic and supportive, and their creative approach and positive attitude clearly came through in the final product.
– Kevin C. Rakowski, Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Compliance with Radian Group Inc.
I was honored to be the subject of an article. I enjoy reading Vanguard articles and seeing how other attorneys got to their positions and see their jobs. It's also interesting to see how different law firms partner with the subjects of the articles.
– Henry Marquard, in-house counsel, Stanley Consultants Inc.
